Hunger Games Series

I have already read the Hunger Games series a while ago. I thoroughly enjoyed the first book and I think it was the best book out of the three books. For those of you who have not read it yet, the first book is basically about a girl named Katniss Everdeen in the distant future. There are twelve districts and the Capitol and she lives in district twelve. Each district makes different things for the Capitol and have varying amount of wealth and living conditions. For example, District 12 is in charge of coal and mining and many of the people who live there are poor and most live harsh lives. Katniss has hunted in the forest near her home for most of her life to feed her family and she trades at the black market called the Hob. Every year they have what is called the Hunger Games in which they pick two kids from each district, one boy and one girl, and place them in an arena where they fight for survival. Out of the twenty four participants, only one will walk away alive. At least that was what happened for all of the Hunger Games, until this year. Katniss must find a way to survive, but knows that if she walks away alive, she won't be the same.

  1. Hi Emi!

I loved the Hunger Games! I didn't love Catching Fire, though. Katniss seemed really whiny to me.
Can't wait for the Catching Fire movie to come out, though :)
