Graceling by Kristin Cashore

I have recently started reading a book called Graceling, by Kristin Cashore. So far it has been an excellent book. It is about a girl named Katsa, who lives in a world where some people called Gracelings have special abilities and different colored eyes. Some can swim like a fish, others can read people's minds. She has a killing Grace, meaning that she can defeat twenty men in armor without using a weapon, and never get a scratch. She has mastered the use of many weapons at a very young age, and kill a man easily. She hates the king, but she follows his orders anyways. The king often sends her out to punish someone he dislikes and she is known throughout the land for her Grace. She is part of a secret organization called the Council. The Council tries to think of ways to lessen the blow of the many cruel kings. On one of the Council's missions, she meets a Lienid prince named Po. Po is a mysterious Graceling with one gold eye, and one silver eye. Together they embark on a journey to find a murderer, but they just might find out more than they expected, about themselves and a strange king.
