Over spring break I read the book
The Maze Runner by James Dashner. I think the author's idea of a catastrophe happening and a experiment done on a group of teenage kids is very creative and original in many ways. The book is mainly about a group of boys that have been stuck in the Glade, a large area with everything they need to survive, and a maze surrounding it. Thomas is the newest member, and like everyone else, whe has no memory of anything from his past life, only his name. The Gladers don't know why or how they got to the glade, but they do know that every night the
the enormous stone walls close and every mornig they open. They also know that there is a huge mysterious maze surrounding the entire Glade. Every
month a new boy has been delivered in the lift. Thomas was
expected to arrive, but the next day, a girl is sent up. She is the first girl to ever
arrive in the Glade and the only one. Thomas doesn't know, but he just might be more important than he could ever guess. All he needs to do is unlock the dark secrets buried deep within his mind.
